Georgia gave her Daddy the best gift ever. He had her on her playmat for tummy time and she started rolling over to her back. We were able to catch her last turn with the camera. Can't believe it, she'll be crawling before we know it.

Georgia's Baptism, Ten Weeks Old 06.04.09

Georgia was baptized on May 31st with lots of family and friends joining in the celebration (she even met her Great Grandmother Anne). We had a brunch at the house to continue the celebration. Georgia was in great spirits during the baptism and didn't make a peep. She woke up briefly when they poured water on her head but immediately went back to sleep. She was awake for most of the brunch and was always picture perfect.

Nine Weeks Old, New Orleans Trip 05.28.09
After a quick trip to Houston, we left for New Orleans. We stopped at the Louisiana and Texas border to snap a couple of shots of Georgia as she made this first monumental out of town trip.
She was great in the car - only waking up to eat and get her diaper changed. We spent the weekend at her grandparents and they were spoiling her with lots of love. Georgia spent a lot of time with her cousins, Chad, Jamie and Christopher. Her Aunt Denise was her first official babysitter on Satu

Seven Weeks Old, 05.14.09

This week Georgia had her cast removed to give her leg a much deserved break. No pun intended. We'll go back to Dr. Dehne in 3 weeks to see if she'll need any further casting. Her foot looks great but her tibia is bowing still a bit... I caught Georgia laughing in her sleep but by the time I grabbed the camcorder, she was awake and smiling. Here's a short video of her smiling and interacting. Enjoy.
Six Weeks Old
This week Uncle Brad came into town for our annual crawfish boil. Pete had his hands full boiling 200 lbs of crawfish. Georgia had a great time and Molly was gracious enough to be her first babysitter during the event so we could eat. We enjoyed a great meal at Hula Hut by the lake on our first Mother's Day.Sunday, May 3, 2009
Five Weeks Old, 04.30.09
This week Georgia has started to discover her hands and feet. She was introduced to her Einstein activity mat and was trying to hit and kick the hanging rattles. The blinking sun puts her into a trance where she'll want to dance and move. Here's a video showing her hitting/kicking the rattles.

First Engagement Party & sunglasses
We took Georgia to Mark & Amber's engagement party (her first). Great food and friends. We had a great time and she seemed to enjoy checking everyone out. Lots of new sights and sounds. She tried on her first pair of sunglasses and looks mighty cool. I think she was trying to pose for the camera. She also is becoming slightly fond of her frog lovey. She's starting to hug it.Thursday, April 23, 2009
