We ran in the Austin Livestrong Half-Marathon and went home to celebrate with Georgia. She really liked the medal and our bid numbers.

New Years, 12.31.10
Uncle Rene, Aunt Carolyn, Jamie, Christopher and Henry made their annual voyage to celebrate New Years in TX. The kids enjoyed playing and eating with each other. Georgia really liked having a house full of people especially family. Aunt Denise, Uncle Mike and Chad joined us for the festivities. Aunt Carolyn and Christopher went ice skating.
Christmas Day, 12.25.10
Georgia had a lot of fun opening up presents on Christmas Day. Here's a video of her telling her grandparents 'thank you people' for their gift.
In love with the nutcrackers, 12.20.10
Georgia is extremely fond of our nutcrackers, named Spike and Frank. Everyday, she tells them 'hello' and gives them a thorough inspection before playing with them. Also, when we leave she makes sure to tell 'the boys' goodbye. Here's a video showing her hugging Spike and giving him a kiss.
Christmas light displays, 12.08.10
We headed down to Zilker to see the huge Christmas tree made out of thousands of colorful lights. Luckily, it was a little bit cool so it really felt like the holiday season was coming. Georgia was fascinated by the tall structure of lights. A few days later we headed over to Marble Falls and saw the beautiful Walkway of Lights. It is right next to their lake and really made the display look great. Georgia was thrilled to see so many lights in one place. She wasn't sure where to look and just kept running down the trail to see what she could find.
XMas tree decorating, 11.28.10
We started decorating our Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving and Georgia was a huge help. Here's a video of her putting on an ornament. I'm not sure, do you think she has the Christmas spirit?

Running in the Turkey Trot, 11.25.10
We started a new Thanksgiving tradition this year of running in the Turkey Trot. To start this inaugural year, Aunt Heather, Uncle Jim, Cameron and Mia joined us in our new running adventure. Mia rode her super cool bike, while Cameron and Georgia were pushed in the jogger by Pete. This was a long 5 mile trek but it took away any guilt that we might have felt as we dug into our tasty meal.
Family photos, 11.23.10
A friend of ours took some great pictures of us at the beautiful Mayfield Park. This historic park is nestled under shady oak trees with beautiful ponds in the center. There were so many birds walking and flying around the grounds. One can't seem to keep their eyes off of the colorful peacocks even the ones that were perched in the trees above. What a beautiful place to use as our backdrop.
A special Christmas reading, 11.18.10
Grandpa Wilton gave Georgia a special reading of the Cajun Night Before Christmas. She didn't even question why there weren't any reindeer in the story. She just sat on his lap and provided the sound effects while he shared the legendary story from the bayou.
An early visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus, 11.19.10
Georgia received an early visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus this year. She looked like she could be their little elf all dress up in her red and white striped stockings and all. They introduced her to her very own Elf on the Shelf rightfully named "Aaron". She was thrilled to hear the story about Aaron and really wanted to lay a hand on him just once.
