Trick or Treat, 10.18.2011

Georgia is really getting into the Halloween spirit this year. She loves to say "Trick or Treat". Here's a video of her sharing her Halloween spirit. Also, she loves to spin around. Notice how dizzy she is starting to become.

I'm going to scared you, 09.15.2011

We made a homemade scary Jack O Latern mask and Georgia loved wearing it. In this video, she is chasing her Daddy around trying to scare him. She's saying, "I'm going to scared you".

Dressing up is fun to do, 06.14.11

Georgia and Jamie had a blast dressing up in Grandmom Judy's princess dresses and more. They had an impromptu dance recital where Georgia learned a few new dances from Jamie. Here's a video showing their fun...

Louisiana vacation, 06.11.11

We met Georgia's cousins, Jamie, Christopher and Henry at Cafe Maspero's and the Aquarium of the Americas. As you can tell, she was a bit excited over all of the various fish, turtles, alligators and more. Running from exhibit to exhibit, Georgia couldn't believe all that was in front of her. I think she might have been thinking that she was in the Finding Nemo movie.

Destin trip, 06.14.11

We headed to Destin, Florida for relaxing fun in the sun with some great friends. Georgia really enjoyed the beach and playing in the sand. She was a little under the weather but still had a great time. I think we'll have more beach vacations in our future if she has anything to say about it.

So excited to be at the beach.

Anyone thinking of Princess Leah?

My beach sweetheart.

2 year old pictures, 05.19.11

The gorgeous and lush Umplauf Sculpture Gardens were the perfect backdrop for Georgia's 2 year old pictures. She spent a great amount of time searching for fish in the slow flowing stream that cut through the grounds. Spring is definitely in the air and the lush gardens were in full bloom. There were butterflies fluttering around the pond and its lily pads. Georgia was quite the adventurer as she explored her surroundings all the while Casey was snapping some great pictures. We had to include her 'funny face' picture.

And now she's TWO, 03.26.11

Her 2nd Birthday party was beach inspired starting with the sand castle cake and her own sand bucket cake. Her family and friends had a great time celebrating her big day. Lots of fishing, decorating sand buckets, and pulling strings to a flip flop pinata.  We did lots of trial runs on blowing out the birthday candle. So much so, that Georgia ran right up to the cake and was waiting for everyone to sing "Happy Birthday" to her so she could blow them out.

Drumming on her new drum in her pjs after a fun-filled day. Her ice cream covered shirt says it all. What a day!

Her BFF and celebrating on race day, 02.20.11

Over the past two years, Georgia has developed a blossoming friendship with her best friend, Lilly. They started out meeting at 3 months at cookouts, bathing in their swim suits at 5 months and then playing in a playyard at 7 months. Now they have taken gymnastics together for over a year and you can see how close they have become. They really encourage each other to do the activities in class. It's been a cute experience to watch their little friendship grow.
We ran in the Austin Livestrong Half-Marathon and went home to celebrate with Georgia. She really liked the medal and our bid numbers.

Trying on her birthday shirt, 02.11.11

Boy, how time flies when you're having fun! We are getting ready for Georgia's big TWO year old birthday party that is a little over a month away. There is much to do as we get ready to have a beach party in the middle of March. Of course, Georgia had to try on her birthday shirt and we (well, actually Mommy) had to accessorize her for our photo session. Here's a sneak peek of her b-day shirt that she loves.

Celebrating a friend's birthday, 01.21.11

Georgia helped celebrate a friend's birthday and played a lot of fun games. She used a fishing pole for the first time and caught a bunch of toys and party favors. They danced to Justin Bieber and ate some cake. She really had a great time and was thrilled to celebrate her friend's big day.

Geaux Tigers, 01.08.11

Geaux Tigers! Cotton Bowl Champions! Georgia was showing her school spirit when the LSU Tigers played in the Cotton Bowl. She loved her LSU tattoo on her face and still points to her face when you ask where the tigers is. Of course, it was so close to Christmas that she had to accessorize with a Santa's hat. Here are a few pics with the tattoo and a video where she growled her scary Tiger growl.

New Years, 12.31.10

Uncle Rene, Aunt Carolyn, Jamie, Christopher and Henry made their annual voyage to celebrate New Years in TX. The kids enjoyed playing and eating with each other. Georgia really liked having a house full of people especially family. Aunt Denise, Uncle Mike and Chad joined us for the festivities. Aunt Carolyn and Christopher went ice skating.

Christmas in Houston, 12.25.10

We drove down to Houston to celebrate Christmas with family. Georgia received so many presents we were wondering where it would all fit. Mia was showing her how to use her DS game which Georgia was quick to claim as 'hers'.

Christmas Day, 12.25.10

Georgia had a lot of fun opening up presents on Christmas Day. Here's a video of her telling her grandparents 'thank you people' for their gift.

In love with the nutcrackers, 12.20.10

Georgia is extremely fond of our nutcrackers, named Spike and Frank. Everyday, she tells them 'hello' and gives them a thorough inspection before playing with them. Also, when we leave she makes sure to tell 'the boys' goodbye. Here's a video showing her hugging Spike and giving him a kiss.

Christmas light displays, 12.08.10

We headed down to Zilker to see the huge Christmas tree made out of thousands of colorful lights. Luckily, it was a little bit cool so it really felt like the holiday season was coming. Georgia was fascinated by the tall structure of lights. A few days later we headed over to Marble Falls and saw the beautiful Walkway of Lights. It is right next to their lake and really made the display look great. Georgia was thrilled to see so many lights in one place. She wasn't sure where to look and just kept running down the trail to see what she could find.
