Georgia loves Mr. Potato Head, 09.12.10

We bought Georgia a Mr. Potato Head toy set. She was a little curious about the pieces but once we put the eyes on the potato she was shrieking b/c she realized it was a little person. She loved putting on the glasses on the toy but even more so on herself. Here are a few of her funny pics.

First day of day care, 08.09.10

Georgia is now ready to go to day care and is anxious to meet a lot of new friends. Daddy took her to school and as you can see she had a smile on her face during the ride. She was a bit nervous when she arrived but quickly became engrossed in fun activities and began to make new friends.

Visiting with family, 08.08.10

Aunt Denise, Uncle Mike and Chad came over for a visit. We had a fun filled day at Schlitterbaun, ate lots of great food, and spent a day at the pool. Georgia had such a good time seeing them and showing them all of her new 'tricks'. Chad really enjoyed quizzing Georgia to see how extensive her vocabulary is. Whew, she passed. She was sad to see them go home but was happy to know that she'll see them soon.

Playing in the park, 08.05.10

Playing in the community park is such a great way to spend a summer day. Georgia loves this little park close to the house because it has so many things to climb and explore. She loves to walk up the stairs, cross the bridge and slide down the slide. They even have this cool scooper thing that she can pick up a ton of rocks and make piles.

Such a star, 08.01.10

We bought Georgia these cute red and yellow star glasses and she really makes the silliest faces with them. I've been surprised how long she'll keep them on.

Hanging with her cousins, 07.15.10

We drove down for a quick visit with her cousins since all Georgia can say is, "Mia, Mia, Mia". We thought it must be time for another visit so she could get her fix. She really had a great time because Cameron is so sweet to her and Mia just cracks her up. I think Georgia is Mia's favorite fan and can't wait until they can really have 'big girl' fun.

Hanging with the Moncadas, 07.13.10

We had the pleasure to eat lunch with some dear friends, the Moncadas, at yummy Chuy's restaurant. Georgia was so excited to see Raleigh, Andrew, Laurel and Nickie (and baby Moncada). She had a good time throwing crayons and her cup on the floor while Andrew was a great helper in picking them up. Laurel and her happily posed for the camera and loved giving each other hugs. What a fun day.

Fourth of July, 07.04.10

Georgia and her Daddy conducted their very own parade to the local park where as Daddy reports, "Georgia shook her American flag and waved on the way". What a ham! They enjoyed a delicious barbeque lunch at the Norton's before heading over to the lake where they met her Mommy. The Symphony played beautiful music as the fireworks were blasting in the night sky. Georgia loved all of the festivities especially in her new wagon that was decked out in lots of patriotic decor.

Family visit, 06.27.10

We met Aunt Heather, Uncle Jim, cousins Cameron and Mia at their resort, Lost Pines for dinner. The grounds were spacious and lush with lots of outdoor activities like using the roaring campfires to make your own s'mores, horse shoe pits, an area with wooden wagons which were the perfect place for Georgia and Mia to pose for a photo. The following day Heather's family joined us at our home for the night. Cam and Mia went on a canoe ride with Uncle Pete and Jim. Luckily, there weren't any overboard tales to report. We ended the evening with an awesome pizza at a local pizzeria.

On Sunday, we drove to Caldwell to celebrate her Great Grandmother's, Anne, 80th birthday. We took her to a local Mexican restaurant where we had lots of chips, salsa and a good Tex-Mex lunch. We decided it would be fun to dress Georgia and Mia alike in a cute polka dotted outfit. Only at this age, does it seem like a good idea. Grandmom's dog, Pita, was pretty interested in Georgia and they were fast friends rolling on the ground together.

Last day at the Little Gym, 06.07.10

Georgia attended Little Gym classes for several months where she played on gymnastic equipment, played with balls, bubbles, and even a parachute. She made several friends in the class and learned from them on how to perfect her walking skills.

Geaux Saints, 05.18.10

Georgia proudly wears her 'Who Dat' dress and purse. What a year to wear Saints gear. Geaux Saints!

Pretty in pink, 06.20.10

Georgia wore a beautiful, pink dress handmade by one of her grandmother's friends. She looked so 'pretty in pink'. Many of the church ladies were commenting on how
sweet she looked.

Colorado trip, 05.20.10

We flew to beautiful Colorado to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We visited local attractions in Denver before heading to our resort in the Beaver Creek community.

Georgia has always been fascinated by airplanes and actually enjoyed the flight so much that she was able to take a nap. Her favorite part of the trip was people watching at the airport and watching the planes cruise to the gate.

She had a lot of firsts during this trip. From visiting the Denver Zoo and seeing all of the animals, to going on a bus and airport tram ride, to taking a bath in a full size tub. We drove through snow capped mountains and saw beautiful scenery of green and golden foliage. Here are a few pictures of our trip.
