Eight Weeks Old, 05.21.09

This past week, Georgia wore her first dress to church and looked beautiful. Thanks to Laurel for sharing. We're getting ready to make her first out of town trip to Houston and then to New Orleans. We'll be sure to update this blog with many pics to document her adventures.

Seven Weeks Old, 05.14.09

This week Georgia had her cast removed to give her leg a much deserved break. No pun intended. We'll go back to Dr. Dehne in 3 weeks to see if she'll need any further casting. Her foot looks great but her tibia is bowing still a bit... I caught Georgia laughing in her sleep but by the time I grabbed the camcorder, she was awake and smiling. Here's a short video of her smiling and interacting. Enjoy.

Six Weeks Old

This week Uncle Brad came into town for our annual crawfish boil. Pete had his hands full boiling 200 lbs of crawfish. Georgia had a great time and Molly was gracious enough to be her first babysitter during the event so we could eat. We enjoyed a great meal at Hula Hut by the lake on our first Mother's Day.

Five Weeks Old, 04.30.09

This week Georgia has started to discover her hands and feet. She was introduced to her Einstein activity mat and was trying to hit and kick the hanging rattles. The blinking sun puts her into a trance where she'll want to dance and move. Here's a video showing her hitting/kicking the rattles.
